It was such a privilege to interview Laylee Emadi, creator of the Creative Educator Academy. I first connected with Laylee when I purchased her signature course The Creative Educator Academy at the start of 2020. It was the first big investment I made when I started coaching, because I was determined to become a great coach. And I am SO glad I invested in this. From learning the strategy behind how to effectively coach someone in a 1:1 capacity, coach in a group setting or mastermind, host retreats and in-person events and so much more – this course really laid out the foundations of being a great educator.
If you are considering joining The Creative Educator Academy, the doors are currently open until 8th October 2021!
And recently, I had the HONOUR of interviewing Laylee in the lead-up to her relaunch of the academy. If you are considering stepping into the role of creative educator either now or in the future, you are going to LOVE this conversation. We talk all about how to know if you are ‘ready’ to become an educator, what you can do if you are wanting to ‘dip your toes’ in the education space, the different formats of education (spoiler: 1:1 coaching is not the only option!) and so much more.
Laylee is an educator with a heart for serving clients and fellow creatives, through her coaching work, as the host of the So, Here’s the Thing Podcast, and as founder of The Creative Educator Academy. She believes in serving the creative industry with heartfelt encouragement, honest advice, and a shared pursuit of the ever-elusive “balance.” Laylee is passionate about her goal to help you feel confident in your ability to make a difference, create impact, and to build a life doing what you love.
In today’s episode of The Imperfect Pursuit Podcast with Laylee Emadi we discuss:
